A brilliant picture of a crocodile underwater showing the membrane in their mouth in full effect. Crocodiles have membranes to cover the eyes, ears, nostrils and the bottom of the mouth so that no water goes in and no bubbles are released. This means they can see you underwater, hear you underwater and bite you underwater without any difficulty.
